Clayton Green signs new Barry Town contract

Barry Town United are delighted to confirm that Clayton Green has signed a new contract with the football club.

Clayton, whose father Phil also played for Barry, has been a rock at the heart of our midfield since he signed in 2018, making 80 appearances in total. He also has six goals to his name.

The 27-year-old is one of the most experienced players in the squad and he captained the side on multiple occasions last season.

Gavin Chesterfield said: “I’m delighted to see Clayton extend his stay with us. He’s proven throughout his time at the club that he’s a central part our group and brings much to the club, both on and off the field.”
