Barry Town United are delighted to confirm that Rhys Abbruzzese has signed a new contract with the football club.
Rhys joined the club midway through the 2018-19 season, meaning he has been involved in two European campaigns, and has made a total of 29 appearances in yellow and blue.
Naturally a left-back, the 23-year-old has shown his versatility across the pitch and performs admirably when called upon. Last season he achieved his most game time for Barry by making 16 appearances.
Gavin Chesterfield said: “Rhys arguably had his best season to date with us and brought a lot to our play in a variety of positions. Rhys will be aiming to kick on again this season and we’re looking forward to seeing how it unfolds.”
