Robbie Patten signs new Barry Town contract

Barry Town United are delighted to confirm that midfielder Robbie Patten has signed a new contract with the football club.

Robbie first signed for the club in the summer of 2018. His debut season in yellow and blue ended in European Qualification.

Since his debut in a 2-0 win at home to Connah’s Quay Nomads on the 1st September 2018 Robbie has gone on to make 56 appearances. Robbie suffered a frustrating season recovering from injury but returned to full fitness towards the tail end of the season and is fit and ready for pre season. His displays in a Barry shirt have also earned him a Wales C Cap and a nomination for the Cymru Premier Young Player of The Year.

Gavin Chesterfield said: “Robbie as we know has endured a tough few seasons with his injury, but he has worked extremely hard to return to full fitness. Robbie is a big part of how we like to play football and has proven during his time with us his undoubted quality.”
