We travel to Haverfordwest County in the JD Cymru Premier this evening (kick-off 7:45pm), aiming to bounce back from defeat to Caernarfon Town on Saturday.
We were beaten 2-0 at The Oval at the weekend – playing the final 37 minutes of the game with ten men following Luke Cooper’s red card, which means he will miss this evening’s game.
We are now fifth in the table ahead of the trip to the Bridge Meadow Stadium and are eager to return to winning ways.
Haverfordwest currently sit in seventh, and will have their sights set on finishing in the top six in their first season back in the top-flight.
They come into tonight’s game off the back of two consecutive matches against Cefn Druids – drawing 1-1 at the Bridge Meadow Stadium before losing 4-1 at The Rock four days ago.
Wayne Jones’s side will therefore feel they have a point to prove this evening as they seek only a second home win of the campaign.
We were 2-1 winners when the Bluebirds visited Jenner Park in another midweek clash at the end of September.
David Cotterill’s first half free-kick gave us the lead before Ben Fawcett equalised with a header after the break, but Nat Jarvis’s first goal in yellow and blue gave us all three points.
Our last visit to the Bridge Meadow Stadium came in the first round of last season’s Nathaniel MG Cup, when Haverfordwest were victors on a penalty shoot-out following a 1-1 draw in 120 minutes.
Due to a Welsh Government and FAW ruling, games must currently be played behind-closed-doors until stated otherwise. Your support will be hugely missed at the Bridge Meadow Stadium, but you will be able to follow this afternoon’s fixture through live updates on our Twitter page.
