Barry Town United are pleased to announce the signing of winger Brandon Griffiths.
Born in Cardiff, Griffiths joined Swansea City’s academy at the age of 14 and was awarded a scholarship 18 months later.
During his time with the Swans, the club were granted Category One academy status, meaning the attacker was able to test himself against some of the best young players in the country as part of the Under-18 side.
Griffiths departed Swansea in 2018, deciding to make the switch to German fifth tier side TuS Ennepetal. He later moved to DJK TuS Hordel and then to Belgian fourth division outfit KSK Ronse.
Now 23, Brandon has moved back to Wales and spent the summer training with our squad, earning a deal for the season ahead.
Gavin Chesterfield said: “Brandon has been with us during pre-season and has shown in each performance that he brings something different to the squad. He’s displayed a good attitude and work ethic throughout and also shown a desire to be a part of the club. I’m looking forward to working with him.”
